Brendah Nabatanzi Mpanga

Brendah is an advocate of the Courts of Judicature of Uganda, having been admitted to the Bar in 2000. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI) Arusha, Tanzania. She is a Graduate Associate with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, (UK) and a member with (ICSA) Uganda Chapter. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Makerere University, and a Diploma in Legal Practice (Dip LP) from the Law Development Centre. She is an alumnus of the prestigious CEO Apprenticeship, associated with Strathmore University, based in Kenya. She is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Corporate Finance with the University of Salford, United Kingdom.
She is the Founder and Managing Partner at BNM Advocates. Her specialty is in Corporate, Commercial Transaction & Corporate Governance advisory. She serves as a Non-Executive Director for Pearl Capital Partners and Vice Chairman of Uganda Biodiversity Fund. She was recently appointed to serve on the Women Lawyers Committee with the East African Law Society. She is also an External Examiner for the Corporate and Commercial Department at the Law Development Centre in Kampala. She is a member of the Uganda Law Society, East Africa Law Society, ICSA(Uganda)
He is a consultant with more than fifteen years of tax experience in Uganda. He previously worked with Stanbic Bank Uganda Ltd & Ernst & Young, where he also worked with other jurisdictions, namely, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Nigeria, Ghana, Congo & DRC. During that time, he amassed deep experience in Taxation & Transaction Advisory across multi-engaged teams within the different jurisdictions.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a member of the Association of Chartered Public Accountants (ACCA) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda
She is a Senior Legal Associate at BNM Advocates, and heads the firm’s Litigation Section. She has litigation experience spanning more than five years on Commercial transactions, Construction Contracts, Real Estate Planning and Succession, Wealth Management, Cryptocurrency, Finance & Banking, Intellectual Property, Defamation, Labour & Employment, International Adoptions and Criminal law.
Beatrice Kisakye Ssewava
Beatrice is an advocate of the Courts of Judicature of Uganda, having been admitted to the Bar in 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Uganda Christian University, Mukono, and a Diploma in Legal Practice (Dip LP) from the Law Development Centre.
She is currently pursuing a Certificate in International Arbitration from the University of Leiden, Germany. She has handled transactions in the financial services sector on Corporate Due Diligence, represented clients in the courts of law on finance matters and investments.
