Brendah Nabatanzi Mpanga

Brendah is an advocate of the Courts of Judicature of Uganda, having been admitted to the Bar in 2000. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI) Arusha, Tanzania. She is a Graduate Associate with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, (UK) and a member with (ICSA) Uganda Chapter. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Makerere University, and a Diploma in Legal Practice (Dip LP) from the Law Development Centre. She is an alumnus of the prestigious CEO Apprenticeship, associated with Strathmore University, based in Kenya. She is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Corporate Finance with the University of Salford, United Kingdom.
She is the Founder and Managing Partner at BNM Advocates. Her specialty is in Corporate, Commercial Transaction & Corporate Governance advisory. She serves as a Non-Executive Director for Pearl Capital Partners and Vice Chairman of Uganda Biodiversity Fund. She was recently appointed to serve on the Women Lawyers Committee with the East African Law Society. She is also an External Examiner for the Corporate and Commercial Department at the Law Development Centre in Kampala. She is a member of the Uganda Law Society, East Africa Law Society, ICSA(Uganda)
She is a Senior Legal Associate at BNM Advocates, and heads the firm’s Litigation Section. She has litigation experience spanning more than five years on Commercial transactions, Construction Contracts, Real Estate Planning and Succession, Wealth Management, Cryptocurrency, Finance & Banking, Intellectual Property, Defamation, Labour & Employment, International Adoptions and Criminal law.
Doreen is an Advocate of the Courts of Judicature of Uganda. She specializes in the field of Corporate and Commercial Law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Makerere University, and a Diploma in Legal Practice (Dip LP) from the Law Development Centre, and a Certificate in Intellectual Property from WIPO Academy, Geneva.
She is a Legal Associate at BNM Advocates, where she has worked since 1st October 2019.
She has experience in Commercial Transactions & Corporate Governance, Corporate Due Diligences, Licenses and Regulatory Compliance. She has provided legal advisory in the Financial Services Sector, Agribusiness, Manufacturing, Education and Information Technology. She has advised different companies on labor and employment law, Intellectual property and has done extensive work on Investment Advisory.
Brenda Nekesa is a Junior Legal Associate at BNM Advocates. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Barkatullah University-Bhopal, India. She is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Tax and Revenue Administration at the East African School of Taxation.
